Toetse & Resultate
'n Klinikus kan jou aanbeveel om 'n mediese toets te ondergaan om: uit te vind wat jou simptoom veroorsaak, na 'n spesifieke toestand of gesondheidsprobleem te kyk, jou algemene gesondheid na te gaan of 'n langtermyntoestand te monitor.
As jou resultaat normaal is en jy hoef niks te doen nie of as daar 'n geringe abnormaliteit is, sal ons jou nie kontak nie.
Jy moet jou toetsresultate aanlyn nagaan deur jou aanlyn toegangsrekening te gebruik of ons kontak. Indien 'n uitslag dringend abnormaal is, sal ons probeer om 'n pasiënt direk oor die telefoon te kontak

X-Ray
X-rays are a very effective way of detecting problems with bones, such as fractures. They can also often identify problems with soft tissue, such as pneumonia or breast cancer.
In order to maintain confidentiality, laboratory and X-ray results will only be given to patients themselves or to the parents of minors.
X-rays results: 1 to 2 weeks.
In-Clinic Tests
At Modern Medical Centre, we may ask for different types of samples to help diagnose and monitor your health. These can include:
1. Toenail clippings - results usually take around 4 weeks.
2. Stool Samples - Results are normally ready in about 10 days.
3. Urine samples and swabs - results are usually available within 5 days.

In die geval van noodgevalle sal die praktyk jou kontak. Ons moedig u egter steeds aan om u toetsuitslae te vra, aangesien dit 'n ekstra veiligheidsnet bied.
